How can a woman maintain that balance being being sexy and classy without being trashy?

Women and men are welcome to answer, I enjoy every perspective. What are some ways that a woman can be beautiful and sexy and fun but not cross that line over into being trashy? I mean ways to dress/makeup, actions, behaviors, mannerisms, etc. What tips you off as a woman being sexy in a classy not trashy way?

-natural makeup (you should use makeup to enhance, not cover your features)
-natural hair
-clothes in darker, seductive colours
-clothing that is a classic cut, nothing too trendy
-classic jewellery
-tailored clothing, nothing too big or too tight
-showing only one piece of skin (ie if you're wearing a short skirt cover up on top and vice versa)
-be knowledgeable and interesting
-have your own sense of self
-not giving it all away at once
-being polite
-not drinking excessively
-not swearing much
-knowing how to tease a man without graphic language or showing your body
-not being the last one to leave a party
-having confidence
-not having to resort to over the top behaviour to get attention

Skinny jeans look alright providing the guy wears them with masculine shoes/tshirt/jacket etc. If the guy wears like yellow shoes or something (which seems to be the trend here in Australia atm) it can really look bloody stupid.

Long hair is alright, but I'm not a fan of the emo thing. I've dated guys with an understated pony tail or just longer hair before and it's been pretty cute. Less is more when it comes to hair. If guys start putting in lots of colours or streaks or cutting it all edgy and weird it can look ridiculous..

I think the 'skinny suit' is a great look for guys, whether it's formal or a skinny jacket with jeans. You know, you should watch the movie 'Alfie' starring Jude Law. The stylist found the perfect balance of style/feminine accents still in a very sexy masculine way. I give his style five stars.

I think the moral of my story is, less is more. Choose one trendy thing to stand out and then wear everything else in an understated way. Then you don't run the risk of looking tragically metro.
