What hair style do you prefer on black guys? (can include pics)

Thank you

Answer
It depends on a couple of things. You have to take into account the texture of his hair, his facial features, his head shape ect. I mean somebody with a box or square shaped head probably won't look good with a bald head. But in general, I think most (black) guys look good with fades and dreads. The best picture I can find of a fade would be this one of Chris Brown(minus all of the designs):http://www.google.com/search?q=Black+men+with+fades&tbm=isch&pbx=1&aq=f&oq=&aqi=-k0d0t0&fkt=1650&fsdt=10849&cqt=&rst=&htf=&his=&maction=&site=images&gl=us&source=mog&hl=en&csll=&action=&ltoken=ce316387&biw=320&bih=455&sei=ZBHyTqCuL4eC2wW1mcWtAg#i=3
Also this (fade): http://www.google.com/search?q=Black+men+with+fades&tbm=isch&pbx=1&aq=f&oq=&aqi=-k0d0t0&fkt=1650&fsdt=10849&cqt=&rst=&htf=&his=&maction=&site=images&gl=us&source=mog&hl=en&csll=&action=&ltoken=ce316387&biw=320&bih=455&sei=ZBHyTqCuL4eC2wW1mcWtAg#i=2
Here's a picture of a taper fade: http://www.google.com/search?q=Black+men+with+fades&tbm=isch&pbx=1&aq=f&oq=&aqi=-k0d0t0&fkt=1650&fsdt=10849&cqt=&rst=&htf=&his=&maction=&site=images&gl=us&source=mog&hl=en&csll=&action=&ltoken=ce316387&biw=320&bih=455&sei=ZBHyTqCuL4eC2wW1mcWtAg#i=5
And a picture of a guy with dreads: http://www.google.com/search?q=Black+men+with+fades&tbm=isch&pbx=1&aq=f&oq=&aqi=-k0d0t0&fkt=1650&fsdt=10849&cqt=&rst=&htf=&his=&maction=&site=images&gl=us&source=mog&hl=en&csll=&action=&ltoken=ce316387&biw=320&bih=455&sei=ZBHyTqCuL4eC2wW1mcWtAg#i=7

How can i get my hair to grow back faster?

Jackson

Im going to a new school. It starts in 9 days. I went for a buzz cut but now im practically bald. Is there anything i can do to help it grow back a little faster?

Answer
The rate of hair growth is controlled by inherited DNA and there is no scientific proof that anything can increase or decrease the rate of hair growth. The average rate of hair growth is 1/8" per week. If practically bald means the hair was cut with a #1 guard(1/8".) In a week, for a guy whose hair grows at the average rate, it will be #2 guard length or 2/8", twice as long and won't look practically bald. In nine days it will be slightly longer. Starting from a butch.....

..... a guy can grow out his hair and have it look great as it grows out if he keeps up with haircuts, getting a slightly longer style each haircut. Assuming an average rate of hair growth of 1/8" per week and haircuts every three weeks: short crew cut; medium crew cut; short ivy league; ivy league; long ivy league; regular taper cut. At this point there will be around three inches on top and the back and sides can start to grow over the ears and collar with haircuts every six to nine weeks to add shape and even up new growth.
While a butch fully suits relatively few guys, a barber with a good aesthetic sense can usually design a regular layer/taper cut or one of the short pomp(pompadour) styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut- to fully suit most young guy's head shape, face and neck shape, frontal hairline and facial features.

A minute dab of control wax aka butch wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. Krew comb, jar variety, works well and so do many others. A butch comb - the small, flat, plastic, oval, pocket brushes that one finger fits through and barbers sell for about a dollar- helps with grooming the short pomp styles. A boar bristle military brush is usually available for a few dollars and is nice to have at home.

best hair color kit for gray hair image

sheal34

I have dark brown long hair with layers. It is also naturally curly and a little coarse in texture. I started getting a few gray hairs along my part and on my bottom layers. You can see the gray hair more when I pull it up in a ponytail. I have gotten my hair highlighted in the past and it really made my hair unhealthy. I have also colored it in the past and the kit I used really didn't cover up the few gray hairs I have. It was nice and easy. What is the best thing to do for my hair type? Any suggestions?

Answer
I prefer to dye my own hair because I have ultimate control over the colour, but if you have never dyed your hair before I don't suggest it. You have to understand colour, what strength developer to use and you also have to be comfortable with the application (technique) which can be difficult.

If you would be interested in dyeing your own hair you should go to a beauty supply store and read the bottles! You can pick out the colour and the level of developer you want but be sure to read those bottles too! And ask questions- hopefully the employees would be able to give you some helpful advise. When you apply it it helps to have a friend make sure you're getting even coverage.

How can i color my hair without coloring my grey hair?

KttyM

I would like to lighten the natural color of my hair but not change the grey. Is this even possible?

Answer
dvice on Permanent Hair Coloring at Home

1. How do I know whether I should color my hair at home or
go to a salon?

Most people can successfully color their hair
at home but there are exceptions. You should get a professional
color job if your hair is in poor condition - coloring dry
damaged hair at home can result in uneven color. Also, if your
hair has different shades and you want one even tone, a hairdresser
can apply different formulas to the different areas. Finally, it's
best to leave it to the experts if you want to make a drastic
change to your hair color, say dark brown to platinum blonde, or
you want special color effects or highlights.

2. Are drugstore hair colors just as good as salon hair color
products?

In general, salon hair colors contain higher-quality ingredients
than the drugstore brands. Salons also offer a wider variety of
colors and tones. But home coloring kits are getting better all
the time and can deliver good results if used properly.

3. How do I pick a color that will look natural on me?

When choosing a hair color, your skin tone and natural hair color
are the two most important factors. Whether you're going lighter
or darker, stay within two or three shades of your natural hair
color. Here is a guideline for selecting a compatible hair color
for your skin tone:

Dark/olive skin: Stay with darker hair colors.

Yellow skin: Dark, rich colors like deep auburn.

Pale skin: Almost any color.

Pink skin: Neutral tones like sandy or beige blonde or chocolate brown are best. Avoid reds or golden tones.

If you know what clothing colors suit you, you can also use that to help
in choosing hair color:

If you look good in warm shades like red, orange, golden yellow, cinnamon brown, olive green, and rust, then warm hair tones like golden blonde, golden brown, strawberry blonde, and auburn will suit you best.

Cool color favorites like bluish red, fuschia, black, royal blue, and pine green indicate that cool hair tones are best for you: platinum, ash blonde, ash brown, burgundy, and jet black.

If you look good in true red, purple, charcoal grey, periwinkle, and teal, then neutral tones like sandy or beige blonde, chocolate brown or mahogany will suit you.

4. How do I get ready to color my hair the first time?

It's a good idea to gather a few materials together before starting:
an old T-shirt, a few old towels and a washcloth that you don't mind
getting stained, some hair clips for sectioning your hair, a timer,
and a hand mirror to see the back of your head.

5. If I color my hair at home and hate it, what can I do?

There are some home hair color products you can use to repair the
damage, but it isn't easy. The problem is that if you used a home
hair color kit to obtain a lighter color, your hair has been bleached
and colored in a single process. So the color needs to be added back
in a process called "filling" before using the final color formula.
Whatever you do, don't simply buy a box of your original color and
try to cover over a bad dye job... it won't work. Fixing hair color
gone wrong is a multi-stage process so a trip to the salon may be
in order.

6. I already have permed hair. Can I color it without damaging it?

If your hair has been permed or relaxed, color has to be applied
carefully or it can weaken the structure of your hair. Salons have
colors specially formulated for treated hair. But if you insist on
home hair coloring, choose a shade darker than you want since
processed hair may come out lighter than expected. Then do a strand
test to make sure your hair can handle the chemical stress.

7. I love my new color... now how do I keep it looking good?

You'll probably want to recolor every four to six weeks. Make a
record of the hair color product and shade you used, and how long
you left it on the ends and the regrowth. Use shampoos and conditioners
formulated for color-treated hair to prevent fading. Stay out of the
sun and chlorinated pools. Hair that has been previously been bleached is
prone to such effects and should be rinsed as soon as possible. Don't use
heavy conditioners and oil treatments after coloring... they can lift
the color.

I want to cut my hair short like Rihanna, not because i'm a big fan or anything, but a few people suggested that I would look good with short hair. And short hair seems easier then dealing with weaves and wigs and stuff like that, that I currently have. However, i'm in high school and there is a boy I like that I might have a chance with and he has never seen me with short hair and i'm scared that if I cut my hair he won't like it.

I really want to go to prom this year but don't have any boys to ask out. How can I meet someone to go with?

Taylor F

It's just that I don't have any brothers, boy cousins, or guy friends. I HATE having no guy friends. I'm a junior in high school and all I really want is a guy friend. He doesn't even have to be a boyfriend.

Answer
Join a club at school, a sport, band, choir, or offer to help somewhere as a volunteer where you can meet some friends. Make sure you don't come off as desperate or you will never get a date. The guy will be worried you will fall in love on the first date. Smile and be approachable, have fun, don't complain about anything to anyone (everyone hates a complainer), get a new hairstyle so you get noticed, get a makeover at a department store for the correct makeup, buy some new trendy (not sexy) clothes. Good luck.

How do you get an acting agent?

DUUUUHHH

Do you have to get a head shot? Where do you Get it? Do you do your own make up and hair when you go and get your head shot? HOw do you do your resume? where is a good place to look for agents? When you get one, what if they never call you? in southern Orange County, where is a good place to get your head shot and an agent you have to audition for?

please answer only if you know. can you please put down any other information you might have that you may think is important for me? thanks so mmuch.

Answer
The first thing you need to do is a good head shot, black and white 8" x 10".

In your resume:
I. Name and Last name, address phone and e mail address.

II. Skin Color
Weight
height
body type

III. Performance Experience You need to start with the most recent you've have made. Then follow the chronology order. Write there only the important things. Agents don't like to read long resumes.

IV. Master Classes, Seminars, Trainings etc.

V Prizes and honors (If you have received) Could be Scholarships.

VI. Studies (If you have formal studies example: BA degree in musical Theater from UCLA)

VII. Skills (Those skills you can apply in your acting career. Example: 4 years of Ballet, 12 years of Classical Piano etc.

Your resume should be only One Page, Unless you have a lot of experience like important roles, commercials, TV etc.

Go to Hollywood, there is a big book store only for actors and actress. They sell a list of agents addresses, phone numbers and e mails. That cost like $20.00

Other choice is trying to start making movies as an extra, and ask for auditions.

Some agents are busy trying to push other artists that they consider have more potential. Be aware of this. If you want to go far in your career, find someone big.

Hope this help.

I have naturally brown hair and have been going to a salon to get it highlighted. Sometimes, even when I just get it done, my roots look bad from outgrowth when I pull it up. I want to do something at home where I can color it all the same color, so the roots are good too. What's the best bright blonde hair color that wont damage my hair? Drugstore or Sally Beauty supply is all we have here. Thanks!!!

Answer
I strongly recommend going to the salon for a dye job. It's extremely difficult to do even an at-home coloring without proper training, and you'll still have to keep up with it so you don't get dark roots. However, if you have naturally light brown hair, highlights should be able to get you the natural-looking blonde you're going for. Try talking to your stylist about weaving the color in so that your hair looks sun kissed and you don't have to come back every six weeks. A good colorist can help you get low-maintenance blonde hair. You just have to help her/him know what you're looking for.

Thidarat

I really, really need a new style. My face is round and my jaw is a little square. My hair is black and goes a few inches below my shoulders. Will a bob go good with me? No? Please help.

Answer
No a bob isn't good. It will frame your face exaggerating your square jaw. My face is round but i don't have a square jaw. I really like my hair long and i've found the cut that works best for be is to keep it long with layers and side swept bangs.
Check the second pic of this link. Cameron Diaz has a round face and square jaw. My bangs i keep shorter though and really like them.

If you want a really short cut you could try

Both of these will downplay the round face and square jaw.
I suggest the bangs because it chops up your face into sections bringing most of the attention to your eyes.

Hope this helps.

How could I style my curly hair?

A Marie

I have hair that is mildly curly. They are looser curls. Since my hair is super frizzy, I have to shower everyday. After I shower, I style my hair with mousse and hair spray. It looks pretty, but it's getting boring. I've had the same hair style routine for 2 years. Does any one have any tips on how to style curly hair? Also any tips on curly hairstyles would be great. Thanks.

Answer
If your hair is long, I would say go short for the summer. If you like it long put some layers and get a diffuser turn your head upside down and diffuse it. It will look wild and sassy. Trust me I am a hairdresser.

What moisturizer would be best for natural hair?

best hairstyles for 70 year old woman image
Q. I recently stopped using chemical straighteners in my hair and decided to cut off my hair so it can grow back thick and strong, the moisturizers is use keep my hair moist for a couple about an hour, so if i leave the house my hair is dry until i return home. Is there long lasting moisturizes and and you tell me which?

Answer
Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a trillion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies.

Look @ videos or hairstyles of women in the late 40's or 50's, and see how healthy & silky their curly hair was. Have you seen Miracle on 34th Street or Downton Abbey? Their hair wasn't styled by professional hairstylists. They were styled by maids. No hair oil, no serum, no hair sprays, and no gels with just the use of shampoo & conditioner. Many countries didn't even have bottled shampoo & conditioner, example in my country, all we've ever used was a bar of soap for our bodies, hair & laundry. I did that for 13 years, even though my hair was permed, but there was no frizzy, no blowdrying and my hair was the same as today: silky, shiny, soft, smooth it IS HOW they are styled when they're wet, and no hair dryer (for 13 years I lived in Asia). Many women then had long hair, curly hair and they wore hats, and pin-curled or plastic curlers curled HAIRSTYLES. The men too, have very shiny hair like the women, although the men used pomade . . .that was before Bumble & Bumble's production 70's, John Frieda's production 1988 or the invention of heating tools, and WEN in 1996. Another way to find the secret to beautiful hair? Find someone with beautiful healthy curls or silky, shiny (not greasy) straight hair and ask him or her to share secrets, preferably someone who is 40-60 years older than YOU. I have 5 decades, so you're getting the answers you need, right here! I won't charge you a penny!

CARE: 1. Washing less often, builds the natural oil your hair needs, to get them smoother, shinier, silkier, softer. Man-made products are just temporary, until you wash them again, and at the same time washing off the natural oil your hair NEEDS. Hair products just absorb on your hair if they're dry, like a sponge. Shampoo & condition is all you need.

DIET: If you've straightened your hair in the past, it may grow slowly or none at all.
Google: "Foods for Healthy Hair" - Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results.

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .
RE: HAIR OIL: "You find people oiling hair every single day, the hair sweats and it doesnât get washed. What do you think happens? It goes limp and becomes thin because it is not breathing,â Shamillah Mohammed, a hairstylist at SUQA, says.

Best answer comes from people with Avatars, showing their healthy, shiny, silky, soft, smooth hair.

What is the best curling iron for long hair?

Q. My hair is waist length and when I try to curl it, it just curls the bottom part because as I wrap it so many times, the heat doesn't reach the top part. I need a a very good curler because my hair doesn't hold curls for too long, it straightens out within the hour.

Answer
I recommend you don't do this . .
Here's a good one. Google: Tori Locklear Burns Own Hair Off In YouTube Beauty Tutorial (VIDEO)

You've got waist length hair, you NEED large plastic curlers. What I do when I want long curly hair, like my knee-length hair? After I've washed it, I braid my hair in several sections, about 7-9 sections, then in the morning take the braids out, FINGER COMB. They will be curly for days!

Heat & chemicals are hair's worst enemies. If you want curly hair, (or straight hair to tame your curly hair) look @ videos or hairstyles of women in the late 40's or 50's, and see how healthy & silky their curly hair was. Have you seen Miracle on 34th Street or Downton Abbey? Their hair wasn't styled by professional hairstylists. They were styled by maids. People slept with their curlers on, or sit in the beauty salon for 20 mins. under a helmet of hair dryer.

Curlers comes in small, medium, large curlers.
Small if you want tighter curls, shorter hair.
Medium: medium curls, medium length hair.
Large: longer hair, larger curls.

"smaller section of hair you use the tighter/bouncier the curl, and the longer bigger section you use the bigger the wave or loose the curl. "

Start your curlers, where you want the curls to begin.

You can also pin curls your hair, if they're short to medium. You can also braid your hair the night before, several sections of braid . . . .after they've been wash, all night and sleep with them, and take the braids out in the morning. Finger comb to style. Use scarf to keep them from the wind.

HEAT PROTECTION, does not protect hair 100%. Like using sunscreen, you still get sunburned. Same with hair. Hair products are not made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged or hair loss, they ARE A TRILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS, and the hair industry also do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals.

Is it true that a Boston Terrier with a mostly white face could be deaf?

Q. My Boston Terrier has a white face and I think I have noticed that he might have a hearing problem. I have read that Bostons with a lot of white on their face are often deaf. His mother had a white face too. How common is this? The puppy was free, and we don't plan to breed him, we love him and just want him to be healthy.

Answer
If he is deaf he can learn hand signals and he will respond to love and affection.

I guess it is true I have also read that in the past

http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.org/health/BOSTON%20TERRIER%20DEAFNESS.pdf

Deafness in dogs is usually related to pigmentation genes: the merle gene and the piebald gene. Research in some breeds indicates that the presence of white hair in the coat increases the likelihood of deafness. The method of genetic transmission of deafness in dogs is not known. It is thought that deafness in the Boston Terrier is related to the piebald gene. But, it is not the gene itself that causes the deafness, but other traits that are associated with the gene. Some of these other traits include the amount of white on the dog and blue eyes. In Dalmatians, research has shown a definite relationship between retinal pigmentation (eye color), white coat and deafness.

Shakira

Ok so, i dyed my hair tips in summer 2012 (in like june or july.) not really a deep color just a bright red. (My natural hair color is light light brown) anyways so it looked really nice the first few days, then it sucked. I hated it, it was an orangey yellow color, ew. That color faded out and now its like a blondish brownish its still not my natural color, and i dont want to cut it out cause i dyed it up too high and if i cut it ill have very short hair. I really need to know how to get this out without coloring it, the lady that did it said it should wash completely out after about 2 months, and that was 5 months ago. Its not fading out anymore and im worried, please help! Also, i dont want to re-dye it any other color and i dont want to use any color out products. Yes this is my first and last time i dye my hair. !

Answer
Red is the hardest color to get out. I know you don't want to hear this, but your best bet is to dye it something close to your natural color.

Is it relatively normal for teenagers to grow a strand of grey hair?

Miss Aweso

So 1 strand of my hair is half silver/grey and the other half is dark brown/black which is my normal hair colour. I'm 13 and a half. Some people say causes of premature greying are trauma and stress. I had knee dislocation 2 months ago when I fell hard, is it because of that? Have any of you or anyone you know had a strands of grey hair in their teens or early adulthood? What should I do to prevent it? I'm not allowed to colour my hair so any homemade natural remedies?

Answer
Google: Grey hair could be a sign of good health
Dated: 2012-07-22
Google: Gray Hair - stress, kids, job not to blame. SFGate. Dec. 4, 2012.
http://www.sfgate.com/health/article/Gray-hair-stress-kids-job-not-to-blame-4091176.php

The little boy down the street from me was born with gray bangs, as he got older to his teens, they became the rest of the color on his hair. I thought his mom was dyeing his hair, but they weren't. Their child's health was otherwise good, and there wasn't any more graying next several years or decades to come. If a child suddenly starts graying like about 4, pediatrician can advise the parents whether blood tests or an evaluation by a dermatologist or other specialist might be helpful to determine a potential cause for the child's gray hair.

Anderson Cooper, Jay Leno & Steve Martin went grey early..
Initially, hair is white. The cells in our hair follicles called âMelanocytesâ generate pigments the main one being Melanin. This gives our hair its âColorâ.
In general, the more melanin present, the darker the hair color; the less melanin, the lighter the hair color.
When these Melanocytes stop producing the pigment the result is a transparent hair. The transparent hair against your healthier darker hair gives the appearance of Gray hair. In reality the hair is not Gray but transparent.
Harvard scientists propose that a failure of melanocyte stem cells (MSC) to maintain the production of melanocytes could cause the graying of hair.
So, although stress is associated with many medical problems, there is no evidence that it can cause a personâs hair to turn white overnight.

DYK: there are 15 shades of colors for blond hair? Red has about 5-7 shades of colors in them. But people don't know that, because they're always covering their hair with hair dyes.

Vogue advances gray-hair chic with silver-tressed model Google Kristen McMenamy.
As Grazia Daily reported last week, Kelly Osbourne is already a championer of the trend, despite her mother's naysaying. She took to the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday with a silvery 'do' Going grey is about being individual, not about following a trend,' Luke Hersheson, backstage hair aficionado, told Grazia Daily. 'Youâre creating a character and you want to stand out. Itâs not actually a flattering colour for your skin tone so itâs better to opt for a silvery tone.
Google Emmylou Harris. She's over 60, and she started when she was younger.

How to get over the fact that I have gray/white hair?

Asd A

I remember someone telling me and making fun of me for having gray hair when I was probably in 7th grade. I am 22 now and I still think about it (I have even more gray/white hair then when I was younger)and it makes me feel awkward and wrong that I have gray/white hair. How do I get over this.
Help.

Answer
I'm 23 now and I've had gray hairs since middle school too. I actually just stopped dying my hair about six months ago-- this is the color my hair is, why should I have to explain it or hide it?

I saw this woman recently who was maybe thirty or so, and she had the nicest salt-and-pepper curly hair. I personally absolutely love that look, when you have a younger woman strong enough to wear her gray hair proudly... it makes a nice contrast out of the older-looking hair and the younger-looking face. I feel like it suggests "I'm not concerned with death."

I think far more important than whether a woman has gray hair is whether or not it's maintained well-- being properly conditioned and styled well and whatnot. Just don't stop taking care of your hair when it goes gray and you'll keep shining.

So I just got a job at a movie theatre and one supervisor (the only one that noticed or cared) said I cannot have my pink highlights. Well, I don't want to dye them back to my brown hair color, so how can I hide them? They are only 6 highlights at the very bottom of my hair and are very thin too. You can only tell I have them when I'm wearing a pony tail which I have to for work. What can I do? Also, they are a super light pink color too.

Whats better getting hair extensions at a salon or by someone coming to your home?

Suhayla

I have European dark hair, looking for hair extensions for my wedding and after. I'm finding getting info a minefield. glue bonds or micro rings, home visit or salon, is there a an organisation that gives idependent advice, what qualifications am I asking for? I live se London nr eltham blackheath. Any advice?

Answer
Here, there, your home or my home, HAIR EXTENSIONS are something I do not recommend.

Getting extensions are not that easy, like buying shoes. AND if you have problem styling your own hair, add hair extensions to the formula, it will be even harder to style when you have them.

People waste tons of money on extensions because it's the new trend. Without doing much research. Then, they come to YA HAIR and ask us questions on how to clip it on their hair, if they can go swimming, play sports, if they can dye or perm, etc. Do you think you'll have time for school, trying to put on hair extensions over 1 hour every morning? Then, they ruin it by dyeing to match their hair.
It's really not that simple! Then again, it will not work out if you have thin hair, the clip will be showing through! How embarrassing will that be, if it keeps falling out from your head, if it's not on right!?!
May 22, 2011: Model and businesswoman Katie Price, who was formerly topless model Jordan, is demanding compensation from a top Los Angeles hair salon after she spent $17,000 on hair colourings and extensions that she claims were botched, leaving her hair so damaged it began falling out.

Kate Gosselin got hers from a salon, and she was on the front cover of People magazine, but she HATED her hair!!!! Access Hollywood. She paid $7,000 for hers. Took 7 hours.

At the salon: 25-50 ($50-$100) extensions, they also have hidden costs, like monthly maintenance fees, one girl charge YA poster $248 more saying the salon put 120 extensions on her head, but she only counted 60. They are very charming!
Google Britney Spear's hair extensions. July 21, 2010.
Jessica Simpson & Paris Hilton don't even use their own hair extensions, plus they have stylists to do them in photo shoots or travel with them. Jessica was photographed, showing her clip-ons during a windy day.
EXAMPLES OF WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT their HAIR EXTENSIONS
well on friday i got synthetic extensions, and they dont curl very well, so i was wondering if i plaited them and left them over night would they go crinkly and mix in with my real hair
because theyre fake i dont know if i can actually style them very well, which is annoying!
+they are starting too get ratty, any tips on how to take care of them ?
thanks!

And another ex:
I have sewn in hair extensions. My natural hair is neck-length, and these extensions are down to my chest. They're sewn in (if you didn't already know) with black tracks, while the hair is my natural hair colour: brown. But I want to have it up in a high-ish ponytail. But, obviously, the tracks are really obvious. How can I make them less obvious?
I hate having to have my hair down all the time. I've always wanted it, but now I'm getting bored. :/

One more ex:
I removed my hair extensions yesterday after 4 months. My hair is really thin does any1 no any good products to thicken it?

And another ex:
i bought 100 dollars clip in 100% human hair extensions and it hurts and pulls my hair. u shud just wait til it grows out. my hair was real short and i wanted extensions real bad and now i feel bad wasting 100 bucks on that where i cud of spent it on clothes or sumother beauty thing. ur not going to wear them after a while cuz u get annoyed having to keep clipping them in and all or whateever kind of extensions ur getting.

This one says it all:
i have had hair extensions done in a hairdressers in melton mowbray 3weeks ago. i have been told they are 100% real hair but they look terrible,it looks like i have been back-combing it. if i curl them it just goes frizzy and if i straighten them it also goes very frizzy with the back-coming look. i have bought all the products that was advised and i have looked after them the way i was told to. i have had hair extensions before and they were lovely, i had no problems. i have been back 2 times to the hairdressers for help and advise and i was told that the hair is rubbing on my shoulders which is giving the back-combing look (my shoulders are not that big). i am now asking for my money back and the hair taken out but they are refusing. i have spoke to the hairdressing federation and they told me to call trading standards, they said to get them tested but i do not know where to send them. thanks for any help.

My natural hair was just past my shoulders. I had 16 inch glue in extensions put in and kept them for about 3 weeks. I took them out two days ago, and not only does my scalp still hurt (it feels as if I ripped out pieces of my natural hair...), but my hair is also SIGNIFICANTLY thinned and slightly shorter.

I've done some research and I've found that glue in extensions can do this to your natural hair. Aside from constantly wearing my clip in extensions...what can I do to restore my natural hair back to it's original thickness? Is there anything else I can do?

Step-by-step on how to tell my hairdresser to cut my hair like an asain?

idk

I have long curly brown hair with side bangs. Well i want it to look asain. And i dont know how to explain it to her and i dont know how to get it like the that. I was think about cuting my bangs to my forhead and get peicing gel or something like that. Btw my hair is unlayered. And i dont have much money just about 30-40. Could you sugest some hair styles? Without having to dye my hair. Pics? PlzD:
