i watched breaking dawn 2 last weekend and i started liking her hair colour in the movie. so, i'm planning with colouring my hair just like hers in the movie Breaking Dawn part 2. and I'm gonna need the exact hair colour of hers cos i'm not really good with identifying hair colours lol. so please help me by just answering this question. my hair colour is currently golden brown if you're curious, and my original hair colour is dark brown. thanks xx

Answer
Twitter Breaking Dawn's hairstylist and colorist, or Kristen Stewart and ask them. I don't live with either one of them.

Hair dyes, which include home hair colouring kits and those used at pricey salons, are linked to deadly cancer-causing chemicals, warn scientists. In 2009 the Mail revealed that women who used hair dyes more than nine times a year had a 60% greater risk of contracting blood cancer.

The chemical is not new and is present in a number of brands of dark hair colours, acting to help adhere the dye to the hair so that it doesn't wash out. Itâs made from coal tar and is used in both permanent and semi-permanent hair colours. Itâs well-known to be a cause of serious allergic reactions -- including something called contact dermatitis which can lead to rashes, blisters, and open sores.
PPD is sometimes added to black henna tattoos and that using them is not safe. Allergic reactions usually begin within two to 10 days following application. One bad reaction can lead to sensitivities to other products such as hair dye, sunblock and some types of clothing dyes. Oftentimes, it's using the product a second or third time.

How to color your hair at home with Goldwell Elumen?

Therese Ti

Yes, I know Goldwell Elumen is a professional Salon hair color product. But some of us can't afford to go to salon's but you can buy these products online so I thought I'd give it a try. I will also try it on one hair strand before doing it on all of my hair of course.

Problem is though, I can't seem to find a guide on how to color with these colors anywhere. I've only heard that if you mix it with water it gets totally ruined. Anyone who can help this girl with ugly boring hair? The color I was thinking of was their PK@all, the super pink one.

Answer
Call Customer Service. We don't sell nor use Goldwell Elumen.

What to do to your hair for a wedding?

arkeketa01

I have a strapless dress for the wedding its like a tapioca color with a black bow on the front. So i don't know if i should where it up or down.

Answer
listen i think you should have it up or at least most of you hair up, it will make you look elegant since ur dress is strapless.

if u dont want it all up i really like this one:
http://www.tahoeweddinghair.com/images/hairstyles.jpg

this is an other one i really liked because it has such a simple and innosent look to it:
http://www.celebrityseduhairstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/bridal-hairstyle.jpg

as for this one its simple but flirty in a cute way:

so depending on you hair and your style in general u can pick on of those.

i really hope i helped you and i hope you have a great special day :):)

What kind of hair style should I get? What type of hair style do most girls find attractive in guys?

introverte

In recent years, probably more than a year now, the hair style I have been getting is buzz 4 on the side, and buzz 5 on top, is that out of style now? Also I usually put gel in my hair and spike it up with a comb, I am wondering is that an unattractive feature that girls do not like? What type of hair style do most girls find attractive? or does it depend on the guy?
Which hairstyle would go good with me? the way I dress is Quiksilver, Volcom, Billabong, Abercrombie, Hollister, Hurley, etc. I wear Vans shoes with jeans. Here is how I look, should I change my hair style? what should it be? what would look good on me?:

What kind of clothing is considered outrageous or not well accepted in today's fashion world?

Q. It seems like everything is "acceptable" in today's society and fashion world. Plaid, animal print and weird hair styles like mohawks and shaved heads on both genders seems "normal". What kind of things wouldn't be considered unacceptable or outrageous in today's fashion world?

Answer
Now a days it seems you can wear anything. I guess shorts so short half the butt is hanging out. Skirts that short (for guys its kinda hot LOL), and a big one, LATEX!! Also if you wear see-thru clothing, boob revealing and private showing clothes you know that's unacceptable.

Hope it Helps! :]

I need help with English to Spanish translation!?

WASHHAA

So I am really horrid with Spanish and I just can't grasp the whole, "make a sentence" thing without sounding like a total idiot. I have to describe myself (which is HARD enough in English) and I'm not sure if I'm conjugating everything right or making everything feminine since I'm a girl. Thank you so so soooooooo much if you decide to help me! :D

English Version: My name is Victoria Ortiz. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I am very short so it is hard to reach tall places. I have two older brothers that are funny. My family is crazy and that includes me. At first I am very shy and cautious. I can be nice, funny with a little strange. I like to read books and watch documentaries. I also like to ride my bike which is my favorite color blue. I love animals especially my brother's cat Mr. Bigglesworth. I am very difficult to understand because I half Taurus and Half Gemini.

Spanish Translation Attempt: Me llamo Victoria Ortiz. Me gusta leer libros y ver documentales. Tambien me gusta ir en bici, que es de mi color favorito azul. Me gustan los animales especialmente Mr.Bigglesworth, el gato de mi hermano.Soy dificil de entender desde que soy tauro y geminis.

Sooooooo yeah, I don't think it's right. Spanish is irking me but im trying supremely hard. Thank you so much in advance!! :)

Answer
You seem to be doing well. There are only a few things I noticed that need changed. In the third sentence, "does" should be "dos." When talking about your family and yourself being crazy, it might be easier to say something like, "My family is crazy, and so am I": Mi familia está loca, y yo también lo estoy. In the next sentence, "timidia" should be "tímida." I would phrase the next sentence as "divertida y un poco rara" rather than "divertida con algo raro." After explaining that you are difficult to understand, you would say "ya que" instead of "desde que." "Desde" means since as in since a certain time, not since as in because. This looks good. Good luck!

Okay so trying to keep up with the fashion so what are the colors the icons ( peace signs. Flowers)
And what's the hair style curly straight crimped buns
Thanks :D

Answer
Bright colours! Like really, really pink and such, that always works in the sun! ;)
Mint is also REALLY in (and I'm not complaining, that's my favourite colour!).
Black and white always work, all year around, 24/7 365!
Also, flower pattern is really in this summer, and, well, basically any pattern! Stripes and dots you can never go wrong with.
Basically, just anything that you're in the mood for! The summer of 2013 is going to be epic, and the trends are going to be very versatile!
And the hair: pretty much everything. Wearing it down in soft waves is what I feel is going to be the trend this year, and sidebraides are always cute. Basically, change your hairstyle regularly this summer! ;)

Have a great summer, girl!

How to give myself a complete makeover over the summer?

Ellie

Alright, so I am going to be a sophomore in high school next school year. Summer starts for me in two weeks. I hate when people at school say i am not pretty; so I would love to prove them all wrong. I want them all to be shocked when we come back to school in the fall. Then walk past them, feeling confident.

Here's a description of me now:
-5"3; 118 pounds.
-Curly brown hair that is about 2 inches above my shoulder blades. (I want to grow it out.)
-I am pretty pale right now.
-I have brown eyes & glasses which I'd like to keep, but maybe get cuter frames.
-I have some acne on my face & shoulders.
-I guess my style would be slightly girly; but maybe i should go girlier?
-Black eyebrows.
-Full lips; big nose :(

All tips and advice are appreciated! Makeup, fashion, & hair ideas would be wonderful :)
Thank you!

Answer
Ok, so I was also a freshman incoming sophomore and I just had an amazing summer transformation!!!!

First thing to do is get your eyebrows done. They make your WHOLE look so do not underestimate them. If your eyebrows are as black as u say they are, you can make them look like cara delevingne's. If not, just shave them off or pluck them off. it's easy to find an eyebrow shaver at a convenience store.

Second is to do something about your weight (if you want). I am not saying you are fat (we weigh just the same actually!) but sometimes the extra weight in some of your body parts makes you look bigger than you're supposed to be. Go jogging every other day if you're not very committed and you'll see results without even trying. Tone your legs to look better and maybe even invest in some small dumbells that you can lift sometimes to tone your arms. It will make you look better! Also cut down on some food.

For your face, wash them everyday for a good 3 minutes. Make sure your cleanser washes deep. Make your hands very clean before you do anything and try to sleep earlier. Lack of sleep makes a person's acne and eyebags look VERY noticeable. To take out the acne, I recommend going to the dermatologist or buying good facial cleansers.

On clothes, if you have a picture of your favorite outfit, I could choose something that might be able to fit your style! But to be safe, always have a pair of cute sneakers. Always have cute earrings. Carry a cute hoody around too, and if you want to look really girly without trying, practice on some cute boys! Haha

For hair, since your hair isn't very long, just grow it out. Massage your scalp every other day, and if you want to give it an extra inch in an instant, buy an iron to help yourself. You can just tie it, that's what I did, and now it's past my shoulders and up to my chest almost! If you're comfortable, dye your hair a great color and you'll look so good!

Since you were born with those lips and that nose, you should work it, girl! Damn! Wear lip gloss and try to look pouty with your lips. If you think your nose is really big, contour it on the sides but not too much, because it'll look fake. You can find some good video tutorials for nose contouring.

Lastly, if you're already comfortable with yourself, you don't have to do any of this. Also, if people think you're trying to "please society" or anything like that, you're NOT. You simply want to look good for yourself and there's nothing wrong with feeling confident. If a girl goes to you and says you're ugly, go, "So?" and roll your eyes. Don't feel like you have to live your life under these popular/other people who think they can tell you what to do. They can't. You have to learn to love yourself in the process too, and in the middle of your summer transformation? Remember to still be you. You're going to be the same person, just with different clothes. GOODLUCK! AND SORRY I TOOK LONG! =) You're going to do so great.

This is me me^.^

http://postimg.org/gallery/1tpe5ce2/
I normally wear concert tees and skinny jeans along with DCs and my make up is a little darker than that usually. Also, I have my nose pierced and my cartilage pierced on that side. I have and industrial on the other side and double lobes on each side, I don't know if this makes a difference or not.
And this is what I want to do
http://postimg.org/gallery/23uvx1iy/
It's the half shaved idea but I want it short like 3/4 to 1 inch instead of all the way shaved. My hairs normally a little redder just haven't dyed it in a while. I also don't want all the half shaved. I want it shorter to just slightly behind my ear not the whole half. Will this look good? And will anyone put a link for a REALLY good example for this? Thank you ^.^

Answer
The links below are my own personal preferences as far as the "best examples" of the Skrillex look. The reason(s) I think these are good examples is because from certain angles, one wouldn't be able to tell that the person has had a potion of their hair shaved. (which may be 100% contrary to what your intention is for having it done in the first place, however.)

I think that these are good examples because extreme cuts, colours & styles are not for everyone. IRONY plays a big part. A cherub-faced little angel with a piercing and a partial buzz is ironic = cool. A steely-staring, serial-killer with a partial buzz, tats and piercings is pretty much predictable = par for the course to the rest of the world.

Alice Dellal's hair colour(s), as well as the long length make her partial buzz look really cute. At any time, she could emphasise the buzz or she could camouflage it (and in some circumstances, one may need to appear to be a little more conservative.. let's be realistic here).
http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6192/6050879847_53c7819de2_b.jpg

I think this is the best that Kelly Osborn has ever looked:
(not sensing any angst or dark, troubled waters any more)
Maybe she's in love!
http://kirstensstylereport.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/kelly-osbourne-shaves-head.jpg

The conservative dress aside, she has managed to find the perfect, happy medium between trendy, quirky, a little eccentric (revealing her own personality to the world); doing so by way of a more conservative colour, curl and cut. Her buzzed sides look awesome and she really looks great.

AmberRose always looks good, no matter what she does. She's a good example of how a total (or partial) buzz can be a good thing:
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI8GXQZqasohOLkX-4Ogu1C8kP32TIsKOnv6eXTyXcP5avqzpWVOp9QAu0_Zf6DKsqz8TzZcfC4O6_d0FAiEqJfz3DiQdswIol8-qC2v82Ab_ztOno97jGV-YOBE-L5LeZwesnNMW4VBU/s320/amber_rose_bald2.jpg

I am just NOT into most tats because I can't help but focus on the fact that in time, the person will probably have serious regrets re: whatever it is they've had inked on to their body. BUT.. this is a good example of a partial buzz, as well as a tattoo. In time, if she regrets the roaring tiger.. she lets her hair grow. Perfect. Besides.. this looks great. Miley Cirus' hair looks great. Love the front, longer, whisps that soften the face. Love the colour on her (looks beautiful). Love the darker buzzed sides. Love the length. This is a great example of the look.:

Agnes Deyn is another one who can do no wrong. Seriously. The all-over buzz is beautiful:

.and so is the partial buzz:

Cassie Ventura's side buzz skrillex looks pretty because of the colour. The darker buzz and roots with the golden, honey blonde colour (and skin) look great on her.:

The key (again, in my opinion) is to have really sexy, cute, feature-softening fringe that spikes or whisps toward the center of your forehead (with some highlights). Depending on the shape/size of the ear.. a little longer section may be necessary in front of the ear (just a wee bit).

The very top/crown should be pretty short so it stays up and doesn't flop-over. If you aren't into short-short then it has to be quite long. To me, it's either one or the other. The partial buzz can be on one or both sides. The buzz should stop along the line of the back of the ear.. no further. Any further and you lose your length. If you go that far.. you might as well buzz the whole head.

As far as will it look good on you.. Yes. I think so. You have great features: big dimples, big blue eyes and baby cheeks. I like your glasses, too. People who look all hard, harsh and scary seem 'other-worldly' to the general public when they have this type of cut/style because it's overkill. Having a baby face with dimples translates every style choice, every piercing, every tat (not that you said you have any).. into a positive, attractive, pretty VS. negative, scowling, angry look.

Thoughts on this haircut?

Krys

I'm want to get a new haircut in the distant future, and I'm contemplating this one:

http://www.besthairstyles2013.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/short-haircuts-11.jpg

I think it's cute and it would definitely work with my face shape (oval). I'm just a little nervous with cutting my relatively long hair, which I am very sick of. And well, to me it's cute but it's always nice to have a second opinion, right?

Also, I'm self-concise with hair color. My hair color is golden brown, do you think it'd look okay in that hairstyle?

So all you hair experts, what do you think?

Answer
It's very trendy, and very edgy. I like it. Any haircut looks fine with any color.

When you go to get it cut, ask your hairdresser what she thinks, too. Usually if she says 'are you sure?' She has doubts about it on you. So when she says that ask her if she has another suggestion.

By chance, whats your natural hair type? Curly, wavy, straight? If its straight, this would be a dream. If its wavy it could work with minimal styling.

But if your hair is curly, you would have to do a bit of damage for it to duplicate the girl in the picture. Just some food for thought.

Can I use semi permanent blonde hair dye on my dyed brown hair?

Can I put semi permanent blonde on my dyed brown hair? My natural colour is a dirty hair color and I haven't dyed it in 3-4 months so my roots are pretty bad... Can I do it with out and green or orange mixed in?
-Ross<3

Answer
U can't cover brown hair with a semi or demi blonde dye. Those dyes are deposit only so they cannot cover anything that is darker than the color u are applying. The only way to get the color u want is to pull the pigment out of your hair.

What to expect people to do or say after dyed hair color?

Shelbs

My hair color is black right now but I'm planning on dying it a different color. Don't try to convinceme not to do it because I'm not changing my mind. I was just wondering what I would expect people to say or do when they see me with a un natural hair color. I am I'm high school. I'm 17 and I'm scene. I've been scene for 3 years I think. But haven't colored my hair an un natural color before.please no bad comments. Thanks

Answer
People probably won't be surprised, they'll probably love it! I've dyed my hair before, but not the whole thing, and others liked it. If your scene, and have been for awhile, others probably expected you to do that, lots of scene people do, so... Yep.

i hear that permanently dying your hair is really bad and fades. im going to my stylist but i don't know what to ask for. help pleaseee.

Answer
There are dyes classified as temporary, Semi-permanent, or Demi-permanent...
Temporary washes out, so that's not what you are looking for.

Semi-permanent lasts longer. "The color will survive repeated washing, typically 4-5 shampoos. Semi-permanents contain no, or very low levels of developer, peroxide or ammonia, and are therefore safer for damaged or fragile hair."

Demi-permanent last even longer. "Demi-permanents have several advantages as compared with permanent color. Because there is essentially no lifting (i.e., removal) of natural hair color, the final color is less uniform/homogeneous than a permanent and therefore more natural looking; they are gentler on hair and therefore safer, especially for damaged hair; and they wash out over time (typically 20 to 28 shampoos), so root regrowth is less noticeable and if a change of color is desired, it is easier to achieve. However, demi-permanent hair colors must be used with caution because they are, in essence, permanent color and the darker shades in particular may persist longer than indicated on the packet."

Brands: Manic Panic, Raw, Punky Colors, Color Fiend (I think these are mainly just colors like blue, green, purple, red, and pink)

"Permanent color is truly permanent and will not wash out, although it may fade. New hair regrowth will obviously be in the hair's natural color, meaning that regular monthly or six-weekly coloring will be essential for as long as the hair color is maintained. Permanent haircolor is the only way to dye dark hair into a lighter shade, and it must be done in two parts: First, the hair is bleached, then color is applied."

"For semi-permanent and demi-permanent color, the final color is always a blend of the natural color of the strand and the dye color.
Bleached blond hair will not absorb certain colors (for instance, dying blond hair brunette can result in bright red or green hair)
Dying dark hair blond requires knowledge of color theory. Once the hair is bleached, it will have a yellow or coppery shade. A violet-based color must be used to cancel out yellow tones, and a blue-based shade will cancel out coppery orange."

Application Techniques
"Hair color was traditionally applied to the hair as one overall color. The modern trend is to use several colors to produce streaks or gradations, either on top of the natural color or on top of a single base color. These are referred to as:

Highlighting, where sections of hair are treated with lighteners, usually to create blond streaks.
Lowlighting, where sections of hair are treated with darker hair color.
These can be applied by the following methods:

Foils, where pieces of foil or plastic film are used to separate off the hair to be colored; especially when applying more than one color.
Cap, when a plastic cap is placed tight on the head and strands are pulled through with a hook.
Balayage, where hair color is painted directly onto sections of the hair with no foils used to keep the color contained.
All application techniques can be used with any type of color. For highlights, the hair will usually have to be bleached before coloring."

Hello, I know proper dress etiquette pretty well. However, I just had a question on this topic. I am starting a company soon, and wanted to know, is there proper hairstyle etiquette?

My hair looks like that of this link:

http://www.totalhair.net/hair-styles/Celebrity-Hairstyles-Men/David-Beckham/david-beckham-8.jpg

Except without facial hair. Is this ok? Is it presentable in a business environment? It's an Ivy League hairstyle.

Thank you.

Answer
In the business world, most men do not use a lot of product in their hair. The style you linked to looks like it uses a lot of gel. In corporate workplaces, men usually wear softer styles, not trendy gelled-up hair. The cut would be fine but a softer look would be more professional, unless the person is working in a very fashion-conscious industry.

Your face would be perfect for these kind of styles. All you need is a tiny amount of gel to make it look soft instead of crunchy like some people do.

I have blonde, thick, wavy hair. I was thinking about buying a styling cream to lessen the frizz in my hair and make it more smooth. Anybody have any suggestions? I don't want it to cost more than ten dollars.

Answer
I have think, wavy hair too and it's taken me FOREVER to find products that really work without making my hair look wet and heavy. I am a huge fan of AG products. Here's a link to them: http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Hair-Cosmetics-p-1-c-5.html
They range from $12-$25 but trust me, the few extra dollars is totally worth it. Right now I'm using their Re:Coil gel. I wash my hair at night and sleep on it and in the morning my waves are excellent. Hope this helps!

I am having a masquerade theme wedding, I know cliche but I just love them, in September of 2014. I am a bride who likes to have a plan and executes it as early as possible. I just sent out the save the dates, which are shaped like masquerade masks with the basic information of my wedding. I wish to get the wording and invitations picked out so that when the time comes I can get those sent out in a timely manner.

I want the attire to be formal and black tie, now I know that there will be a few that will not follow this but that does not bother me so much.

Now my bridal party has already suggested and agreed to wear their masks for the majority of the wedding, taking them off when eating, dancing, and for photos.

I would also like my guests to wear masks, not the whole night, but just through out the ceremony and if they wish, longer. Is that being unreasonable? I am going to make and provide all masks for the party and guests. The women will have the option of a mask with a tie ribbon or with a handle, as I do not wish to mess up any ones hair or make up, same with the men. Guests can also bring a mask if they choose. On the invitation, I wish to mention the masks and how I will personally make each and every one for my guests and ask them to send back on their R.S.V.P. with a favorite animal, color, fabric, pattern/print, or something else that could be incorporated in a mask that is designed just for them. I also know that some guests will bring a plus one and others who never R.S.V.P. will show up anyway and for them I will have still elegant but not personalized masks. All the masks will be a keepsake that can be taken home with the guests.

I will be sending out my invitations a year from the wedding and will need an answer by no later than seven months before the wedding.

Is what I am asking for too unreasonable? I wish to be as polite as I possibly can about my requests while still respecting my guests' wishes. I am very crafty and I truly enjoy making and designing masquerade masks so that will not be any added pressure or stress on me. It relaxes me. Also my fiance and I are paying for everything.

How can I word this on an invitation?

Any and all advice and suggestions are more than welcome and highly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help.

Answer
Cool idea. Ok I would GIVE them the option whether or not they want to wear a mask. Cuz what if some people feel differently? You could have 3 options on your RSVP:
1. I would like a personalized mask. Here's how I want it. (Then have a space for them to describe their personalized mask)
2. I would like to bring my own mask.
3. I wish to not wear a mask.
But first describe your masquerade wedding, and have them check mark which option they pick, so that way you know. But you can still have the extras around just in case they pick #3 but then change their mind at the wedding. That's what I would do. :) I know for sure if I was attending your wedding, I would so get a personalized mask. That sounds fun. Good luck and congratulations. :)

Answer
All you need is "black tie invited" on the invitations. Those who choose to go formal, will, and those who don't will at least know it's a formal wedding. I would not put any more of this information in the wedding invitations -- keep those classy and formal.

If the masks are going to be ready and at the guest's places, the ones who choose to participate will, the ones who don't, won't. You can direct guests on an extra slip of paper to your wedding website and have an online survey set up to ask questions about their mask preferences. The ones who participate, you can make their custom mask. The rest can just be more regular masquerade masks.

Seven months before the wedding! I guess explain that on the wedding website:

"The theme of our wedding is masquerade. As many of you know, Cecelia is a gifted crafter. She would love to make a custom mask for each guest who chooses. Click here to take a short survey of what you'd like in your mask, and be sure to leave your name so we can have it ready for you at the wedding. We are so excited about this, and blessed by all who choose to celebrate in this way with us. If you desire a customized mask, we will need to know by no later than February 12, 2014. You may also call Cecelia at 444-444-4444 (or email at ceceila@mail.com) to discuss your preferences with her. We will have other masks available for each guest at the wedding, and look forward to a unique and spectacular day with you all."

That's how I would handle it. It does seem like a lot of fuss and work, and I'm not sure how the masks will work for the ceremony, but it's your wedding and if it's meaningful to you and brings you (and your fiancé!) joy, then go for it. Just don't bog down the wedding invitation with all the details.
