how to remove temporary hair color?

huny

My 10 year old daughter wanted to dye her hair a dark brown color .(She naturally has a light dirty blonde color) So i thought the safest way to do that was to use a Temporary hair color that i bought at Walmart. This temporary hair color should have washed out with 28 shampoos.Well the color never came out and im freaking out.The color is not fresh.
I will not take my daughter to the salon to do some hair damaging and have really strong chemicals to remove the color. i want to use something naturally to be able to take this color out of her hair. what can i do ????? please help
i put this color in my daughter's hair in july. the crown part of her hair has washed out more than the bottom part of the hair.

Answer
Temporary hair color washes out after one shampoo. What you're thinking of is a semi-permanent. It doesnt just, wash out after 28 days, it fades gradually, and faster than a permanent color. If her hair was virgin (never been chemically processed) then it will hold the color longer.

Do not try some crazy home remedy that someone gives you- those normally only further dry out and damage the hair. Just keep up, it will fade.

Oh, and don't just slap a lighter color over it and expect it to go back to normal, it wont. either it will turn orange, or simply not affect it at all, color-wise.

What about Hair Color Remover?

Stevie!

Can u really use a hair color remover even if u have had the dyed color on your hair for at least a month? what color will it make my hair?

Answer
Hair color remover will make your hair a million different shades, like a calico kitty. If you're going darker, like a dark brown or a black, than use the hair color remover. It is more likely that dark dye will go over the patchy colors evenly.

Unless you really, really hate your hair color and it must go away, I'd just wait it out. A good way to fade hair color faster is to use Head & Shoulders. It won't make the dye immediately go away but it will speed up the fading process.
