Hair Buzz Generator Anyone?

Jordan

I live in a state where the highs are 105+ degrees everyday! I sweat like a pig. >.< So I've decided (finally) to shave off my full head of hair. All of it! Less to take care of and keeps me cooler, not having to shower few times a day. :o

This will be the first time my hair will be buzzed and I want to know if I'll look decent with it. D: I've been searching google for a FREE buzzed/bald head generator and it's not coming up good. If someone could find me one I'd love you forever. Have to make a decision by the end of the day.

A hair style generator cannot accurately portray how a guy with a full head of hair will look with a shaved head or a butch...

.... the style probably being referred to by "shave off my full head of hair." The relation of the skull shape to the frontal hairline, face and neck shape and facial features are crucial elements with regard to how well a butch suits and there is no way a style generator can know the exact skull shape for a guy with a full head of hair. A butch fully suits relatively few guy. As far as a cool feeling short haircut for the summer, a short pomp style-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut- actually beats out a butch. During the hottest parts of a Summer day, the sun is directly overhead and the top of the head gets hit directly with the suns rays while the back and sides get the rays at an angle, much less radiant energy transmitted at an angle. With a butch, the hair is so short that the scalp on the top of the head is not shaded and gets hit with the sun, full strength. With a short pomp style, the hair on top is long enough to shade the scalp somewhat but still short enough to allow free air flow to aid in evaporation of sweat which is an endothermic process that absorbs the body's heat to transform the sweat from a liquid to a gas, cooling the body; therefore, a short pomp style will feel cooler than a butch. The back and sides can be tapered similarly with all of the short styles. While a butch fully suits relatively few guys, a barber adept with the short styles, can usually design a short pomp style to fully suit most young guy's. For a guy who has never worn a short buzzed style before, it is a good plan to first try an ivy league and then if there is a desire to go shorter, go with progressively shorter crew cuts, maybe a flat top crew cut. If a guy has never worn a style with short tapered hair on the back and sides and with the ears fully exposed, first try a regular layer/taper cut. The mid to lower back and sides can be tapered as closely as an ivy league or crew cut. This will accustom a guy to short tapered hair on the back and sides and to having the ears fully exposed before going short on top. He will also get most of the cooling benefit of a short summer style even with a few inches left on top.

Search the internet for images of soccer star Lukas Podolski for numerous examples of the ivy league and crew cut style. A minute dab of control wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. I prefer krew comb, jar variety. The small, flat, plastic, oval, pocket brushes that one finger fits through and barbers sell for about a dollar help with grooming the short pomp styles. A boar bristle military brush is usually available for a few dollars and while too large for a guy to carry in his pocket, is nice to have at home.

Is it more attractive for a BALD guy to have facial hair?

Brandon 42

I happen to be a young 26 year old guy who has gone naturally bald. Not a big deal really. Problem is, I cant and could never grow much facial hair. It comes in very light, scraggly, patchy, and to get anything decent, it takes much longer than alot of guys, and even at that point, it doesnt look respectable. Can a bald guy get away with a clean shaven face, or does he need some sort of facial hair style to make his overall appearance better? Thanks

Answer
personally i think a guy with hair on his face instead of his head is kinda gross. you should keep your face clean shaven.
