Green Tea:

Green Tea (tee) Extract acts as an antioxidant, lowers serum glucose, maintains kidney health and blocks angiogenesis. It reduces platelet aggregation (preventing clots) and lowers high blood pressure.



Spearmint Tea:

Spearmint tea - A possible treatment for mild hirsutism

Women with hirsutism grow hair on their faces, breasts and stomachs. This can cause great distress. The hair grows because they have abnormally high levels of the 'masculinising' androgen hormones. Androgens travel around the body in the blood stream, and a key way of treating hirsutism is to reduce the level of these androgens.

Preparation:

Green Tea/White Tea Preparation For green tea brewing, a lower temperature 65 to 80 degrees Centigrade (150-175 degrees Fahrenheit) is recommended. Steep for about 2-3 minutes. Use 1 teaspoon of tea for every 8-12 ounces of water depending on your taste. If you use the same leaves for a second and/or more serving do it right away. Usually green tea and white tea leaves can be have up to fourth serving. If the leaves sit for more than 2 hours discard them and brew a fresh pot. Low temperature can preserve the green color, flavor, and nutrition of high-end green tea. Put tea leaves into the teapot first; pour in the medium temperature water ( or you can pour 70% of hot water first, and immediately followed by the 30% cold water at room temperature); then, leave the tea pot or tea glass open to air so that the quality preserved. Leave the tea pot open is critical to green tea/white tea preparation. Never boil/cook the green tea leaves!


Spearmint Leaf :

To use as a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water
over 1 teaspoon of herb, cover and steep
for 3 to 5 minutes.

Wow, people are being really mean to you. There's nothing wrong with sharing a little information. I'm starting to think that we DO need a healthy eating section.

I agree that you feel a lot better eating that way, but I just can't stay out of Maggie Mudd. Neither can I leave the curly fries alone, or the popcorn or the reese's cereal....basically if it's not hurting an animal I'll eat it, despite the hydrogenated oils and all that other bad stuff.
