I want to get a hairstyle that is short at the top yet medium on the top and back. Don't suggest faux hawk or a mohawk because i've already tried those but i dont want another.

u should try a haircut most japanese teens here do, they have a lot of layers and its not long.. idk ur age tho.. hmm ill try to find a pic..

I'm cutting and donating my hair in a couple of days, and I'm getting a new hairstyle while I'm at it. Any suggestions for short, pretty hairstyles? My hair is going to be cut above my shoulders. It's naturally straight, fairly thin, dark brown/black if that bit helps. Pictures would be great too :)
