Hair Colour?

kenrick f

hello friends .i jus got an awesome cut.im thinking about colouring my hair.but i want to know wheter hair colour is bad for the hair and what are its negative effects.much help would be appreciated

Answer
What hair colour you should get depends on how you look, the shape of your face, the skin tone and the eye colour.
Haircolours aren't the best thing for the hair. It dries the hair and it breaks easier. If you want a lighter hair colour, you need to bleach your hair, which really damages it. I personally like haircolours with oils, because they soften the hair. After you've coloured it, use lots of conditioner and stuff. Keep the hair soft and healthy. But, just by colouring it, your hair won't just break and fall of, but it won't be as strong as it was before. Bleaching can break the hair so much it falls of, but it's rare. It often gets damaged though

Toner or hair color?

Q. What is more drying...toner or hair color?

Answer
Hair color is more damaging but it depends. If you color your hair using a semi-permanent or permanent that is close to your natural color or the color you currrenlty wear then it won't do damage per se' because it only deposits color and so it doesn't break down your cuticle to change the appearance of your current hair color.

However, if you use permanent or bleach to lighten your hair then the color has to damage your cuticle by removing pigmentation from your cuticle which causes dryness/damage.

Toner usually just deposits color so it normally isnt damaging unless the ingredients are very harsh.
