Answer
Hair colors can add spice and enhance many hair styles. It's fun and rewarding when a much anticipated color change comes out dazzling, but it is also completely devastating when it works out wrong. An important rule is a great hair color should look as natural as possible.

Good hair colors can add shine, drama and fun to your hair style. It can make some hair types easier to style. Although the majority of women color hair to cover gray hair, not all women who color their hair are gray. Many women try a hair color change for the fun of having a new look, and the pizazz it can add to your hair style.

If you decide to add color for hair, it would be wise to first educate yourself. Taking the time to learn about color can save you tears and disastrous results.Remember, if your hair is in damaged condition before hair coloring, it may very well become worse afterward. Make sure you have your hair condition in the best possible shape before adding color for hair. For the best results, stay within two shades of your natural hair color.

What hair color is the most common?

Q. I'm thinking it's black, then brown, then red, and last blonde. Is that right?

( Naturally, not dyed. )

Answer
Gray or white hair is the most common if (with God's grace) one lives long enough: Individuals of European descent tend to start to gray in their mid 30s, Asians in their late 30s, and sub-Saharan Africans in their mid 40s. Estimates vary but perhaps up to 75 percent of all middle-aged American women dye their air to cover the gray. However, 50 percent of all Americans are 50 percent gray by the time they are 50. However, there's absolutely no proof to the malicious rumor that parents get gray hair from their children.

Seriously, the most common natural human hair color is black, found among all ethnicities; then brown, the most common hair color in Europe; then blond, which originated around the Baltic Sea 11,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age and only makes up about 2 percent of the total human population; and then red, which makes up about one percent of the human population, but is most common in Scotland and Ireland, where redheads make up 13 and 10 percent of the population, respectively, and in Scandinavia and among Ashkenazic Jews.

P. S. --- 25 percent of all men start to bald by age 20; by age 60, 2/3rds have begun to bald.
