What colour streaks should I put in my hair?

I have like dark brown/black hair colour and I was thinking about getting streaks. What colour do you think would look best? A lighter brown? Blonde? Please let me know. Thank you in advance (:

Depends if you want to go for standard / trendy highlights (a few shades lighter) or something a bit more alternative (a random colour).

You will have to bleach the streaks because otherwise they won't take a lighter dye, so it won't be all that great for your hair, and tricky / high maintenance to keep redying the roots etc.

If someone has sandy hair color, would you say they have blonde hair?

sandy brown is light brown, not dark blonde. sandy blonde is mostly blonde, sandy brown is mostly brown. look for pics of hair shades you like and bring it to your stylist so they know how light you want your highlights. you could do low lights also. black could look cool in sandy hair if you're trying to be trendy- like you could just dye the bottom layer black so you look like the singer from Berlin!

what color top should i wear to my high school yearbook picture?

i have long brown hair, hazel eyes, and lightly tanned skin..what color do you think i should wear? i want something that will look pretty and classic. nothing too over the top but i want the picture to come out good :) thanks!

Well if the yearbook is in color, I would go for something in the purple hue. Of course you will be getting the color version for your own pics. You can NEVER go wrong with a basic black. Just keep it really, really simple. A very simple shirt that is a v neck and a classic necklace would be perfect. Just don't wear anything too trendy that you won't like 10 years from now. Trust me...There are a lot of girls I went to school with (in the 80s) that can't believe they wore their hair as high as they did. Can you believe that some of them couldn't even fit their hair in the picture? Regrets, regrets, regrets!!!

I have an olive skin tone and natural dark brown hair i just recently dyed my hair to a medium auburn i usually wear black eyeliner but it seems too heavy for the lighter color can any one recommend something other than dark brown eyeliner

Ooh that's a nice, natural mix. For eyeshadow, you could either continue to make it natural/subtle looking with shades of brown, smart and sophisticated with very subtle grays or you could go trendy with bright colors. It kind of depends on your eyes. If they're brown or hazel, continue the natural look. But if they're gray/ light blue go with subtle grays or light subtle blues. Also, if you have blue or green eyes, go with fun, funky colors like pink or purple, or earth tones like brown or green.
Also, black eyeliner is good, as long as you don't put too much on.
