best hair color line to use image
kristen
I currently have dark brown hair that reaches just above my shoulders. My hair cut is an outgrown a-line. The color of my skin is beige. Does anyone have any ideas for a NEW hair color (highlights, peek-a-boos, etc.) and hair cut? I've gotten blonde peek-a-boos before. Thank You!

I love this site. It is so much fun even at my age. You upload your picture on one side and on the other side you can pick out movie stars and their hair and transfer your face to their hair color and hair do. It's great to see what you would look like as a blond, brunette or redhead. http://hairmixer.com/?gclid=CPOM-rbdwpwCFQ62sgodBTqAnQ

What is the best Dark Ash Blonde hair color you can get in the stores?
Emily
I'm trying to go back to my natural hair color from black. I have the bleaching aspect down, I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure what the best dark ash blonde color to use is. I don't want it to come out grey like a lot of in store ash colors do. Any ideas y'all?
Answer
I have done this, actually, just this week to my hair. When you lift the colour you don't want to bring it much past the orange stage so it doesn't turn greenish or grey on you.
Firstly, bleaching isn't your only option. Look into Color Oops which you can get in drug stores. It will maybe take a couple treatments but will NOT damage your hair the way bleach will at all and will remove the pigment you have in your hair back to its natural base. I would try this first. You may be able to forgo colouring it at all unless you have previous bleach you've dyed over or something (like i did, lol). At least do this first to minimize damage by a LOT. If more lifting is needed, wait a day and THEN do a soap-cap (bleach, developer and shampoo) to lift out the remainder.
Then for the colour, if you need it, i recommend Goldwell Topchic colours - look for an ash tone like MB or "Jade" or "cool" or such in the name. You can see swatches and purchase this line, which is the best in my opinion, from Sleekhair.com. A level 7 is considered to be dark blonde.
Good luck!
