i mix it with ordinary shampoo and put it on my wet hair, let it for more than 30mins and rinse it. chocolate powder have no ammonia or peroxide :D

I have been highlighting my hair for about 8 years now. My natural color is a light-medium brown and after so many highlights, much of my hair is blonde. I want to go back to my natural color. Should I just go to the salon or would be ok dying it on my own. My friend said she just used a non permanent dye without ammonia on her hair and it worked for her. However, her hair is much darker than mine and her highlights were never as light as mine.

Go to the salon. If you are going back to your original hair color, then you don't have to worry about redying your hair so the higher price tag will be worth it. Hair is a delicate thing, you don't want to end up destroying your hair.

Yup, just squirt it on. If ya want streaks, seperate the hair sections between sheets of paper. Just the ends of your hair looks cool too.

Sooo, I am a counselor this year at a camp and every year, every team has there own special thing, and our cabin is that we do our hair really funky colors and designs, but all the stuff I have found is really cheap and washes out before the day is over or really expensive and really not in the budget when there are 12 of you for an entire week, (last year it cost me almost 100$!). So I'm like ok looking . People say I'm pretty but I don't believe them lol. But I want to be even more pretty . I want to just wow people when I walk into school. I'm about to be 14 and I have light brown hair , blue eyes , some acne on my forehead and upper lip and chin but I only get it bad when I'm on my period . Help with acne?? I want my body to glow ! It depends what you consider PRETTY. Black is beautiful, pale is beautiful, but flawless complexion is even more beautiful, and it doesn't happen in months. It takes YEARS to get there! I started by age 9.

I have long, thick, straight hair. I've had the same hair style for years, I just keep it parted down the middle, no bangs. I am going on Friday to get it cut, and I want something different. How should I get it cut?

Since you have straight hair, you have many options.
You could just get some layers and some side bangs and it would look fine.
Or you could go for a really stylized cut.
It depends on how much time and effort you are willing to put into your hair everyday.
I say just google "long straight hairstyles" and pick out which ones you really like. Then, take that picture in to the hairstylist.

Styles for Hair Up:

*Low messy Pigtails: to make your pigtails a bit more trendy and modern, try not to make them too perfect. Instead of parting your hair right down the middle, make the part random and zig-zaggy. When you braid the pigtails, make sure you start lower than you normally would and make the pigtail braids loose, allowing a few hair strands to fall out. Finish off the look with a newsboy cap if you would like for a chic look.
*Messy Bun: This look is really really cute but looks effortless. When doing this look avoid washing your hair for one day before doing it ; the more residue your hair has, the better the style will hold up and look. Basically what you do is gather all of your hair with your hands (no brushes or combs allowed) and form it into a loose kind of bun (make sure that this is high up on your head and not close to your neck) Then with a strong ponytail holder, simply wrap it around your gathered hair until it is secure. Allow some strands to fall out.
*Headbands: This look can be quite cute yet allow you to have your head up. You can put your hair up in a regular ponytail, and just simply finish off the look with a skinny headband or wide headband (whichever you prefer) for a fun flirty look. Plus it keeps any hair out of hte face.

Hair Down:
*Curly Hair: Try putting some curl activating serum through wet hair and let it air dry for a beachy textured look.

What documents does my mother-in-law need to travel with our toddler?

We are going on a cross-country trip to Boston in a couple weeks. My daughter will be flying with my Mother-in-law two days beforehand. What documents do we need to prepare for her so that she will be able to travel with her. My daughter will be a couple weeks shy of her second birthday.

We were thinking about giving her a copy of her birth certificate, a letter from us that says she has permission to travel with her, and a copy of our health insurance card. Does this sound like all that we need?

We also have a special document set up for emergency health care that we give to all the members of our family who may be caring for our kids. Its called the "Authorization for Third Party to Consent to Treatment of Minor" and it basically says that you, the parents, give permission for your child to be taken to an emergency room, etc. It lists specifically that the people you are designating (your mother-in-law) are allowed to consent on your behalf for your child to have x-rays, anesthetic, and any medical or dental services that may be required. If you want, you can add the provision of the Family Code Law that it falls under (Code Section 6910), and this states that after the child receives treatment that he/she be allowed back into the custody of the person who took them in (your mom-in-law), that way you don't have to fly wherever it may be to pick up your child. At the bottom of our statements for our family, we list all the names of our designated agents (family members we have given the release form to) and sign and date the bottom. This is just a good thing to have when your child travels with someone other than the parents. You never know what may happen, and accidents can't be forseen. Many doctor's offices and emergency rooms will not allow someone other than the parents to admit a minor child to the hospital (unless you have something stating specifically the person is allowed to). You may also want to include a copy of her immunization records and a list of any specific medication or food allergies your child may have. I also highly recommend making up an emergency card for your child on your computer. Put vital statistics: name, age, birthdate, height, weight, any identifiable birthmarks, hair and eye color, etc. along with a current photo of your child's face. I also make mine with a spot for the thumb print (you can do it at home with just some black stamp ink). This could be used to give to security to easily identify your child in case your child accidently got separated from her grandma (airports are busy places). We take ours with us to amusement parks like Disneyland. It's only about 3x6 inches, so it fits in a wallet. It just helps give us a piece-of-mind that it is one less thing we will have to try to recall if our child is lost and we are going crazy looking for them. I also always take a photo of my kids before we leave, to note the specific clothing they are wearing that day. The more info you can have to give to police, etc as quickly as possible will be the most help to find your child fast. Last thing... I always have my kids wear bracelets with their name and me and my husband's cell phone #'s on them when we go somewhere with lots of people and confusion. At least then someone can call you or page over the PA system with your child's name.

I once had tips in my hair and the colour was like the picture i have shown. But that was guess work and i don't wanna mess this one up.
As i explained before, i have bleached my hair, only for a bit, and it turned the colour i wanted it, but only a part of it.

Since your hair is natural maybe you can use a dye that says it for dark hair. There is dye for dark hair to make it brown. If you bleach it you only have to bleach it for like five ten minutes and then use a toner to take out the red in it. Yes your hair will look red After bleach but then you use a toner to cancel it out and leave it brown.

That was sort of a transitional year, so some of the more upstanding young men probably still dressed as they did in the late 50s; casual belted khaki pants, nice button up shirts (usually solid colored or plaid), and suits and ties for formal occasions, including church, work, and cocktail parties. How do I manage Static hair in the winter?

My hair gets really static in the Winter, and I was wondering is there any sort of shampoo or product that will remove the static but not weigh my hair down?

I've tried mousse, hair spray, bounce sheets, oil treatments, etc. None of them seem to work on my naturally fine and thick hair.

1. Deep condition your hair 1 - 2 times per week.

2. Use a good daily conditioner, rinse or detangler on the other days.

3. Follow the instructions on the product. DO NOT OVER CONDITION! Over conditioning your hair isn't good either. It will cause undesirable build-up on your hair and your hair will either become static, or go limp and unmanageable.

4. Once every week or two use a clarifier on your hair to rid it of hair product build-up and environmental pollutants.

5. If you have colored, permed, or relaxed hair, make sure that the product you use is safe for chemically treated hair or it will damage the chemical service that you had performed.

I've been thinking about dying my hair lately a lighter color. I have short off black hair and a dark brown skin tone as well as chemically relaxed hair. What hair color should fit my skin tone? I don't want anything to bold like blonde or fire red. Something more natural looking and complimentary.
I wouldn't relax and dye my hair at the same time! It's just i'm tired of rinses as i feel they aren't really helping to achieve the look i want.

From experience, I suggest to either try going totally natural OR keeping your hair in your current range of colors and use "rinses" (temporary colors) for shine. Processing from relaxation plus lightening will damage your hair beyond repair!

Use products intended to prevent split ends, avoid using heat (ie, blowdryer, straightener, curler) to style it. Wash it less. You're hair really doesn't need to be cleaned daily.

Compare and contrast Los Angeles vs New York City with positive details for both?

I am writing a compare and contrast essay over both, and I'd like your opinions because I have never been to New York and grew up in LA so I am partial to it. My categories are: Style (fashion); People; Style of Living; Transporation; Types of Food; and Weather. So I need specifics for those. If any of my general topics can be improved, I'd like to hear those opinions as well.

LOS ANGELES

Style- more laid back, wear whites, colors, sandals, jeans, a more "hair let down" style.

People- Everyone is on the phone, I think both cities. there isn't a major difference in people except in New York, there are many more men in business suits and women dressed professionally. I noticed there are a lot more Australians, Japanese, and British people visiting LA than in New York

Transportation- CARS,CARS, AND OH LOOK, A BUS.

Types of food- LA has a wide variety of foods, just like New York, but there is more Mexican, Korean, Japanese food in LA.

Weather- Does the weather in LA change?

Style- Black is the color of choice for all, if not for most people who are fashionable. It's the fashion capitol of the western hemisphere! Even though New York is more formal than Los Angeles, New York definitely does "casual" in a very trendy way. As it is said, New York is where fashion starts and than it moves outward.

People- New York is very multicultural. The person right next to you is going to be very different. New York isn't as much of a playground as Los Angeles is. There is a somewhat seriousness that New Yorkers possess that no other people have, it's truly bizarre if you ask me. There are many more European and Canadian tourists in New York than there are in LA that I've noticed over the years.

Transportation-most people who commute into the city either ride the bus or the train. Cost of parking you're car in the city can run up to $40.00 an hour. Redic but true.

Types of food- ITALIAN, Chinese, French, and steakhouses are among the most popular. You know, the food of any region really shows the people who are living there, *wink*

Weather- Cold from december to march, starts to get warm in march until mid april. After Mid-april comes the serious HEAT AND HUMIDITY HITS YOU LIKE A WALL!!! Thunderstorms until June than just heat and humidity up until Late october when the crisp fall weather comes.

Hey! Since you answered my question so nicely, I thought I'd return the favor~
I'm also a fan of Korean style, so maybe I can be of help~

First thing I would recommend is checking out a style of clothing called Ulzzang. That's the style of clothing I like to wear, and it's really really popular among young Korean girls. Usually light/chiffon dresses/skirts paired with cardigans (fitted or really big and loose) and ballet flats or high heels. They also pair jeans with big baggy sweaters quite a bit. Anything with chiffon or lace or sheer fabric is very popular over there.

For makeup, the style that is in fashion for young girls is to look 'cute' and 'innocent' - Light skin is also very popular over there so if you have light skin you'll fit in a lot better. If not, maybe just try out a BB cream which is lighter than your natural tone. Big eyes are very popular, and most Korean girls use circle lenses. The most popular circle lense brand is GEO. Basically they're like normal contact lenses, except a lot bigger. They make you look like a cartoon character. 'Gradient lips' is very popular too. It's where you put a dab of color (lipstick, lipgloss or the currently very popular lip tint) to the center of your lips only. It gives a more natural look. The condition of your skin is important over there, so having clear and 'pure' looking skin is good. I would recommend BB cream by Etude House and concealer by Misha. Cherry Pink lip tint by Tony Moly is something I swear by and so is Etude House Tear White Eyeliner. Korean girls will wear thin black eyeliner on their top eyelid and extend the line out and slightly downward. You can watch tutorials for this on youtube. Straight, thick eyebrows are popular currently aswell -- you can achieve this kind of look with eyebrow pencil or matte brown eyeshadow.

Hair style is pretty easy. Anything with bangs is pretty much favored. Any colour is fine. Soft, loose curls are very popular. Hair accessories such as bows or headbands are worn a lot by Korean girls~

Slang... well, ones that I use a lot are:
Aigoo! - Means "Oh Dear!" or "Oh my God!"
Omo - Oh my gosh
Wae-yo? - Why?
Mwoya? - What?
Molla! - I don't know!
Jjang!! - The best!
Hwaiting! - Fighting (used as encouragment, like "Go!" or "Persevere!")
Calling older boys Oppa, and older girls Unnie

Gwiyomi is also pretty trendy right now. It's a song by a girl called Hari and lots of Korean people think it's really cute. There's a dance that goes along with it, you would be able to find it on YouTube.

Basically, if you want to try and re-create a modern Korean-style life, just remember CUTE. Being cute and aodrable and innocent and childlike is VERY popular in Korea, Japan, even China etc. When you get a bit older, in your 20's, it's more popular to be kind of classy and sexy.

I would recommend checking out an online store called 'G-market' because they sell a lot of really popular but reasonably priced Korean clothes!
