also if you get layers all around the top of your head short will that create volume. like paris Hilton's hair in the early simple life when she had them at the front going right around to the back?

i think something with a lot of layers is very laid back..im looking for the same hairstyle... you want a hairstyle to be laid back and chill if you want a surfer hairstyle..mayb something like this??

I have straight long black hair, about 6 inches above my waistline. My face is oval. Right now I don't have any bangs.
