So for just about a month I've noticed my hair falling out. I know hair falling out during the day is normal but mine seems to be more excessive than it used to be. It actually feels a lot thinner than it used to be. After I shower it's the worst, I hate brushing my hair because I don't like seeing all the hair come out. Throughout the day I can brush my fingers through my hair and it comes out every time. I've switched to using a wide tooth comb because I heard that helps and an organic shampoo and conditioner. Does anyone have any ideas of what may be wrong or if there's something I can do about it?
Okay maybe I should of been clear, I'm not balding. I'm 19 years old so thanks for the rude response.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a trillion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies. ⢠Hair products may claim one or more benefits, but usually they do not have scientific base.â¨
"No hair product can change the hair's biology," says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L'Oreal USA. "Products that 'repair' them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it's still broke," says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. "Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period."
Example 1: "Hello, my hair is bleached and I've colored it alot in the past.
I haven't retouched my bleached hair in a month or two and my hair is Constantly breaking off!!! I'm losing SOOO much hair!!! Especially in the middle of my hairline
Ive been using Moroccan oil conditioner, olive oil masks and my hair is still breaking off! PLEASE HELP ME."
In the beauty industry, there is no industry-agreed meaning for terms like 'organic' or 'natural'. Unlike the food industry, these terms are not regulated for cosmetics which means companies can use these terms pretty freely.
Also, products like shampoo, conditioner and body wash are mostly made of water so therefore are mostly natural (because water is natural, right?). So if a shampoo is 90% water, then a company can simply claim "90% organic or natural" and be telling the truth. Certainly, this isn't in the spirit of what people believe organic to mean, but it is within the law.
"Organic skin care products are trendy, but that does not mean nonorganic ones are dangerous," Wendy E. Roberts, M.D. past president of the Women's Dermatologic Society.

Dove hairfall facts:
1. Humidity makes hair dry and brittle, leading to hairfall
2. Colouring the hair damages the hair strands leading to breakage
3. Pollution is also an unseen killer of healthy hair
4. Tangled hair is the most common reason for hair fall
5. While shampooing cleanses your hair, regular conditioning is required for adequate moisturization. Regular use of conditioner post shampoo also solves the problem of entangling which is the major cause of hairfall.
HEAT & CHEMICALS are hair's worst enemies. You've got any of those on your hair?
Supplements, medications, anti-acne products, hair oil, birth control pills, pollution in the water, to name just a few . . . ALL HAVE SIDE EFFECTS.
Any reactions to a drug - like Vitamin B complex which is a supplement - 'side effect' is a negative reaction to a drug - this is your body telling you that what you just gave it is toxic to it, and instead of helping you, it is actually hurting you. It is your body's way of telling you to stop. All drugs have side effects, and are toxic...even lethal...to some people at some dosage. Another term for toxic is poisonous.Â

Another example: Vitamin D posted on Facebook: "I'm regretting reading the small print on my bottle of Vitamin D capsules. The source is "wool oil." So... sheep sebum? I can't get the (hopefully imagined) smell of wet sheep out of my mouth now."
Google "Boise teen goes on Today Show to talk about losing her hair." She's got Alopecia, 100% why you have hair loss.
"As an alopecia sufferer for 25 years I would however tell his mama to stop the shots. They still haunt me and ultimately they are useless. I used to get a shot and the hair would grow and then fall out somewhere else."

"You find people oiling hair every single day, the hair sweats and it doesnât get washed. What do you think happens? It goes limp and becomes thin because it is not breathing,â Shamillah Mohammed, a hairstylist at SUQA, says.
Google: January Jones: "My Hair Is Falling Out In Clumps" 1-28-13 To quote Joni Mitchell, "you don't know what you got till your thick hair is gone."
When hair starts to fall out MORE, there are no hair products or treatment, that are made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged or hair falls. It is a trillion dollar business, and they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair falls.
Eliminate the 'causes' before you find 'solution' and your hair will improve.
