any good shampoo and conditioner for kinky hair?

Prince

I want one that will make my hair less dry. And will make my hair healthy and more thicker and allow it to grow. Do any one know any shampoo and conditioner that have protein in them?

Answer
Every vitamins & minerals for your hair comes from your diet, there's protein in eggs, beans, meat.

Shampoo & condition the hair as usual, every 4-7 days, but continue to trim off the damaged hair, allowing new growth to take over. Use GENTLE shampoo. Applying a small drop amount of oil to wet hair can also act as a leave-in conditioner and provides excellent conditioning in preparation for the next shampooing.

In the beauty industry, there is no industry-agreed meaning for terms like 'organic' or 'natural'. Unlike the food industry, these terms are not regulated for cosmetics which means companies can use these terms pretty freely.
Also, products like shampoo, conditioner and body wash are mostly made of water so therefore are mostly natural (because water is natural, right?). So if a shampoo is 90% water, then a company can simply claim "90% organic or natural" and be telling the truth. Certainly, this isn't in the spirit of what people believe organic to mean, but it is within the law.

Don't believe the hype: "For skin care products, 'organic is not enough,. Some organic products are fabulous, and some are not." ~ Dr. Lisa Chipps , M.D. specializes in removing skin cancer & repairing the resultant wound (laser therapy whiz) in Rodeo Drive.
"Organic skin care products are trendy, but that does not mean nonorganic ones are dangerous," Wendy E. Roberts, M.D. past president of the Women's Dermatologic Society.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a billion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies. ⢠Hair products may claim one or more benefits, but usually they do not have scientific base.â¨
"No hair product can change the hair's biology," says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L'Oreal USA. "Products that 'repair' them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it's still broke," says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. "Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period."
Example 1: "Hello, my hair is bleached and I've colored it alot in the past.
I haven't retouched my bleached hair in a month or two and my hair is Constantly breaking off!!! I'm losing SOOO much hair!!! Especially in the middle of my hairline
Ive been using Moroccan oil conditioner, olive oil masks and my hair is still breaking off! PLEASE HELP ME."

Can you use color care shampo on non color treated hair? And can I use this specific shampoo?

Jasmine

I have never dyed my hair, but the lady at the beauty supply store gave me "Pureology Serious color care shampoo: essential repair" and "Pureology serious color care shampoo: Hydrate"
I heard these are really good hair products .. but I don't know if I can use them? Thanks

Answer
I no nothing ABOUT YOUR HAIR to answer why you have been given that product.

Hair products, are not made of glue to FIX, PREVENT, REVERSE hair from getting damaged nor hair falls, caused by 'abuse'.

They are trillion dollar business and they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss.
