what hairstyle would suit me?

I have really thin hair and right now I have a mohawk but I need to grow my hair so I can wear sarees to uni. I know I cant have long hair because it makes me look really weird. What kind of hairstyle would suit me? Pictures? links?

Cut it short and choppy.
Add some teasing.
And I think it would look really good :)

Am thinking not to choose any earrings for it and thinking of going just with studs. And also my hair is past shoulders, what hairstyle should I make? Alsoi need opinions and sugestions on it! :-)

saree and shoes are stunning, but the clutch seems seems a bit out of place.
