Is there such thing as a natural black hair dye?

Simple question... I used to use just for men deep brown hair dye but the color ALWAYS came out jet black. I just want a hair color that covers grey and looks natural at the same time. (Doesn't have to be a male product) Thanks for everyone's help!

If you use deep brown hair color than just go up a shade and it won't come out so dark.
There is a Paul Mitchell hair dye that is for males that covers grays and looks very natural. But in order to do that you would have to go to a Paul Mitchell salon or know somebody that is licensed or attending cosmetology school to buy that product at the stores.

my mom is tired of her hair, she has to dye it every single month, and it damages her skin. is there any other way but permanent hair color to cover the grays? or some kind of hair style?

she even told me she feels desperate enough to just buy a wig. =( shes 64 years old by the way. any help would be appreciated.

sallys beauty has like a color stick that u just apply to your hair like lipstick it looks completely natural (:
