Im in middle school. My hair is like up to my butt and i wanna cut it but i dont know how to convince my parents. Any suggestions pls?Btw, im indian if that helps anyone.

In some families it is easier to convince one parent who will then convince the other parent, and in other families you have to speak with them both at once. You know what works best in your family. Sit down with the best parent or both parents, and explain that you feel like your hair is weighing you down, that it needs some style, takes too long to take care of at that length, and that you would like to get it cut. Make a case for what you want, remain polite, of course. Let's hope they see it your way easily.
Finally, be prepared to compromise. You might want a chin-length cut, which might seem too extreme to them, but they might be willing to compromise by taking some length off and layering it so that it is a bit more stylish. Have a "backup picture" of a long length you would be satisfied with so that your parents have an easy "out" and can say "well, this is too short, but that longer length picture would be okay." Once you start cutting your hair more stylishly, before too long they may allow shorter cuts.

well actually its just side parted and like her hair cut is layers/layered.
its also just very volumized and well taken care of. hello? she's a bollywood girl and people take care of her
