Why does the media and people like blonde hair so much?

Literally why? these two blonde girls always keep polling about how blonde hair is better than redheads,brunettes and girls with black hair what is so special about blondes anyway? and why are they better than any other hair color? I don't understand and those two girls who kept polling on yahoo answers seem very shallow and arrogant.

How do you make your Yahoo Avatar look so interesting?

I have tried to get interesting hair colors and hair styles for my avatar, but notice that there is just the same old things to choose from; yet when I'm here on Yahoo Answers, I see such cool Avatars with green hair or a hair style that is different from the norm. How does one get these different options for their Yahoo Avatar?

go to extras...holidays and events...then pick an event that u like....there's even the academy awards!!! if u know this stuff already....i dont know what u shud do.
