Towel dry your hair, add quarter size amount of gel on your palm, mix them together with your hands apply to damp hair whether finger comb or style your hair. Lightly blow dry on low heat, to 'freeze' the style there.

I really like that haircut- go for that one. I don't know what it's called, but if you bring in that picture and show it to whoevers cutting your hair I'm sure they could do it for you.
