I've removed the dark brown-black hair colour to a honey blonde colour! I was wondering if Nice n Easy's demi permanent Light Ash Brown would cover over it?? Help please:(

Colour B4 states that you can only use a level 1 dye after colour b4! I need it done for Friday so helppppp

What are some long lasting hair coloring products with colors like blue and turquoise?

I have read reviews about Manic Panic,Splat and Jerome Russell's line of colorful hair color but I've read that they don't last long. I have medium and dark brown hair. I really don't want to bleach my hair. I'm planning on put the dye on the ends of my hair. I'm also wondering if i should use permanent,semi-permanent or demi-permanent. Which one is last longer?

Typically these colors are not available in permanent color lines, professional or drug store. Manic Panic, Spat, Pravana etc are all categorized as Semi Permanent, as there is no developer (peroxide) used to activated it. We refer to them as Direct Dyes, and prefer Pravana. Because the color is staining the top of the hair cuticle, (and not depositing into the hair strand like permanent color), it is important follow these steps to achieve the best color saturation:

1) Hair must be clarified with a Chelating shampoo, to eliminate old drug store conditions and stylers to produce even porosity = even color.
2) Pre-lightening the hair, (with bleach), a few shades will increase the vibrancy of the fashion color, and open the cuticle to allow color to get wedged deeper into the strand.
3) Apply a plastic shower cap, and apply heat for deeper color deposit.
4) Gently wash hair with color safe professional shampoo and conditioner, rinsing with cool water. This will bring down the pH level and lock in the color.
5) Cleanse and condition your hair every other day with professional color safe products like Pure0logy or Prive to maintain color.

Professionals - how do I keep my hair color without frying my hair?

I color my own hair strawberry blonde (a level 7/8, and I am a level 6 or so). I am coloring more often than I'd like in order to hide grays and because the red fades out so fast, usually in 3 -4 weeks. I would like to try adding a semi-permanent reddish color as a boost, but am afraid the double process over my whole head will cause breakage and fry my hair. It's already not in great shape, but my ends just look like a bad bleach job at this point - no red whatsoever (my hair is long). Will ammonia-free hair color still damage my hair? Suggestions? Help!

try using pantine prov blonde expressions. it will help keep your color. and if you get spil ends easily, go to the salon evey few weeks and get them cut off

Hair Color is too light want more of a caramel wheat blonde tone?

I went to the salon to fix a home hair disaster. My hair was stripped and color was added. Only the color used was very ashy and I had a greenish tone. The stylist said it was a 100 level color. I returned to the salon to remove the green tone and now it's too light. She said she used a 915 color. It's almost yellowish. I was charged for the fix and the owner looked annoyed that I wanted to fix the color. I am left with trying to fix this color myself. I have a level 3 dark brown natural. I want to add Sebastian Honey Blonde semi to tone it down but don't want any red tones. I want a sandy caramel blonde tone that's more on the brown side, not red. I paid for color correction and color, then again to fix the color that didn't come out right. What should I do?
