I wanna get my haircut really short like Paul walker, milo ventimiglia, jensen ackles or kellan lutz.
What would I say to the barber?

Those guys wear a variety of short buzzed styles mostly crew cuts and ivy leagues(long crew cuts) though Paul Walker is often seen wearing a butch that he purportedly cuts himself. The short pomp(pompadour) styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut- are not cut with clipper guards since the top hair is not a uniform length but graduates shorter in length from the longest hair at the front hairline to shorter hair at the back of the crown. Relatively few guys fully suit a butch. A barber with a good aesthetic sense can usually design a short pomp style to fully suit most young guy's head shape, face and neck shape, frontal hairline and facial features. Haircut terms such as crew cut and ivy league can be interpreted widely depending on region and barber. Take a photo of the desired short style to help describe it to your barber.

Some barbers describe an ivy league as a crew cut just long enough to be parted and combed to the side, if so desired. An ivy league is usually worn with the hair brushed up off the forehead to form a short pomp front, and can also be worn with the short bangs brushed down on the forehead like a forward brush cut.

To grow out a short summer style and have a nice looking style as it grows out and assuming an average rate of hair growth of 1/8" per week and haircuts every three weeks: short crew cut; medium crew cut; short ivy league; ivy league; long ivy league; regular taper cut. At this point there will be around three inches on top and the back and sides can start to grow over the ears and collar with haircuts every six to nine weeks to add shape and even up new growth.
A control wax will keep the hair looking well groomed at crew cut and ivy league length. A butch comb also helps- the small, flat, plastic, oval, pocket brushes that one finger fits through and barbers sell for about a dollar. A boar's bristle military brush is available for a few dollars and is nice to have at home.

Grooming any of the short pomp(pompadour) styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.
1) Towel dry hair.
2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.
3)Transfer wax to palms.
4) Smooth palms over hair.
5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.
Whichever style you decide on, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired haircut to the barber. If you need photos of any of the styles discussed above let me know.

I have a short forehead and a wide jaw. I love bangs/fringe but sometimes it just doesn't look that great. My hair is wavy with a lot of volume and about medium length. I love unique and out-there hairstyles, so if you have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate. Pics would be nice too. thanks.

Hairstyle for short forehead and wide jaw?

I have really small and short forehead, really low & thin eyebrows and big cheeks with wide jaw. and lots of hair haha. imagine mickey mouse without the black ear part :D what hairstyle is appropriate for this.. weird face-shape?

I would say a high bun or a high messy bun would look pretty, this suits most faces and looks stunning. As if you leave the hair down, your head would look huge. But you said you have lots of hair therefore a bun would cover that all up. There are many tutorial on youtube and internet. Just search it up 'hair bun tutorial' ! You would pull it off! :)

very straight hair, a little longer than shoulder length,layered, all black hair,,just a little brown highlights, far side parted bangs(short).I've seen it before it looks really cute, and makes you look very young.

What kind of hairstyles look best for an oval-shape face?

Q. I have a short forehead. I also have very thick, fine, straight hair that tangles easily.

My hair is medium length. Right now I just have it all one length with an angle cut in the front, and I part it to the side. I don't really like the side part, but parting it down the middle looks plain. I usually just get long layers and an angle in the front, and I part it to the side... but it gets old. I want something different! I would try some side bangs, but my face is long and I have a short forehead.

Anyone have any good ideas?
