I haven't had a relaxer or straightened my hair in 4 months. I wash, condition and moisturize my hair. How long does it take to grow natural hair out without cutting it? What kind of hairstyles can I use?

The same way you grow normal people's hair, but if you've tampered your hair using heat & chemicals - it may grow slowly or none. Relaxes also contain ingredients formaldehyde causing cancer, that's been a headline from the Food & Drug since 9-12-11, when they banned Brazilian Blowout. Today? they are many brands out there that are still being used @ home or @ the salon and people continue to ignore them, just like cigarette smoking, people continue to smoke.
Heat & chemicals are hair's worst enemies. If you want curly hair, look @ videos or hairstyles of women in the late 40's or 50's, and see how healthy & silky their curly hair was. Have you seen Miracle on 34th Street? Many women then wore hats, and pin-curled or plastic curlers curled HAIRSTYLES. The men too, have very shiny hair like the women . . .that was before the invention of heating tools.
If you've straightened your hair in the past, it may grow slowly or none at all.

Look @ my hair now, with just the use of bottled cheap shampoo, no conditioner. We also have soft water. When traveling, I briefly rinse with bottled water. Celebrities rinse theirs with Perrier water. ~ InStyle mag.
