I am looking for a stylist who really takes care of hair. I am black so they would have to be a black stylist. I want someone who cares for your hair, and makes it look natural and healthy. Are there any stylist like that. I also want my stylist to know modern hairstyles and learn my style preference. I have just not found anyone like that. Please help! I know most of those type of stylist cost $$$, but I am willing to pay as long as my hair looks and feels good.

I have thick, dark brown hair that has no volume, it usually lays completely flat. My friend is at one of the top beauty schools in the Seattle area and wants to do my hair. Without coloring I am considering a body wave perm, or just a simple hair cut. I am not a fan of bobs on me. FYI. Thanks.

from experience do not get a perm
i usually keep my hair in a ponytail too so we prob have the same taste
its wayyy to hard to manage and just ends up looking messy
im not too girly either so i went with side bangs
they're not too hard to manage but still end up looking cute when you dont feel like doing anything with them
maybe some simple low layers
not a fan of bobs either, thick dark brown hair too--same taste, hope it helps :)

What makeup would work with this outfit?

Today is my 16th birthday, and my family is taking me to Seattle for the day.
I'm still deciding on the outfit, actually- a black and white summer dress with a sweetheart neck, a soft salmon-pink romper, or a black and white romper.

I have medium-length blonde hair and big blue eyes. I usually only wear eye make up and foundation. I just wanted tips on fitting the makeup with the outfit.

Soft-salmon pink romper is my first choice for you :) make up wise I'd use some blush, slightly pink nude lip coloring, mascara, foundation, etc. Then I'd wear a statement necklace, and maybe a large belt too for your waist. A large blue purse would be really cute. I'd also either curl the hair, or tie it up braided hair bun style (just google).

I chose the salmon because the other seem a bit too formal IMO, maybe if you were living in London where we all wear black ALL the time, but not in a lovely place like seattle where the weather's so nice :) happy birthday!

I'm in 8th grade, well going into. School starts the 19th. And my hair is blue and green. And I live in Alabama. And I have no idea what they will do about it. I'm not getting rid of it. My old school didn't care, I lived in Seattle. If the school says anything about it what can I say so I don't have to dye it a different color?

u dont need to go to a salon, and waste money.

Just make tea dicoction, cool it and strain to get the clear dark brown water. Add the henna powder and make it like a batter enough consistency to make it stick to ur hair. U can wear gloves if u dont want ur hands to turn red, offcourse this color will go after few washing of hands.
Keep this past on for a couple of hours and then wash off with water.

Q. I am natrually tanned but after the last few months it has been very cold and now i look white. Im not being racist but the colour white does not suit me with my dark hair and brown eyes, makes me look like i just put white powder all over my face. If you're only fourteen, don't sweat it. Once you get older, you'll begin to realize that pale skin is beautiful. I used to fake tan when I was fifteen because I live in Seattle, WA and it is very cloudy here about 70% of the time. But now I am nearly 22 and I am starting to be very proud of my white skin, and you should be too. I think dark features on white is absolutely gorgeous and nothing to be ashamed of. It is very natural and model-like to keep your body as natural as possible.
