ive been dying to get Mia Farrows hair. ive had it short before like hers. but for Fall this year i wanted a more darker color than my natural blonde color. idk if shes a natural red head or not but. if anyone could tell me what color this is that would be grand! im guessing a redish strawberry blonde? THANX!

I have a few questions today:
My hair is chemically straightened, so I want my hair to be very healthy. The last time I got my relaxer was August 2010, so my natural hair is coming back. This causes me to straighten my hair.
SO HERE ARE THE ?s:
-Best heat protection sprays/products? Are there any that are under $20?
-Also, are there any leave-in conditioners that are just AMAZING?
-I have a lot of split-ends, what products would help?
-Tips on how to get healthy, long hair? Preferably past my elbows. :p

1. Heat protectant doesn't protect hair 100%. Like sunscreen, you still get sunburned. Not only will your hair get damaged, relaxers also can give you cancer.
Relaxers Warning: but they're not permanent. It is a billion dollar business, and they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss due to 'abuse', in this case, cancer.
Google Permanently straightening hair warning, about 7,410,000 results (0.08 seconds)Â , more warnings during the last month. I've been posting about them since 2009. Canada had issued a public health warning regarding Brazilian Blowout and has stopped the distribution of their salon product; Ireland has also issued a recall. ~ Also published in Vogue Feb. 2011.
2. Leave-in conditioners does very little benefits for the hair.
3. Spend 5-10 mins. on a sunny day so you can spot your split ends easier, using a 2" scissors, cut strand by strand, section by section, allowing new growth to take over, then 2x a year get a good hair cut.
Eliminating the 'causes' will make your hair healthier, stronger, longer, and $400 richer each time you 'save your hair'.
Your hair is envy from us stick straight haired girls! If you know how to care for your hair type, you won't have this problem. Melina Kanakaredes is an example who has hair like yours and she's got beautiful wavy hair.
Shampoo. Condition. Towel dry, scrunch with gel like Samy, blow-dry using a diffuser briefly, tousle the hair, finger comb, shake your head & you're good to go. If you don't have a diffuser, use a blow heat dryer on low for 5 mins.
When you wake up, instead of shampooing again, keep a bottled water filled with water/conditioner and spray on your hair. Scrunch, finger comb and you're good to go!
One method to make it look fuller, add body, tame the curls, bouncier, thicker, SEXIER, softer & shinier hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers (not Velcro) after you towel dry, you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry briefly while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb to style. Used by the best hair color models, and the fashion industry, like Victoria Secret Fashion Show Dec. 2009, America's Next Top Models, EXPRESS, Dancing with the Stars, even used on Oprah's hair . . . . and continued to be used today where salons care about pampering your hair. When you see hair on TV a hair color commercial, they're not done by curling or straightening tools. Hair that shines like that and feels like hair, not hay, has to be done by the best hair tools available w/out damaging to the hair. Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tempered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .
