what schooling do i need to qualify for beauty school, whats the best one i could go to, and can i get a scholarship? i want to go to school to be a makeup artist, hair cutter, and master colorist, wheres the best place i could go, and how long would i have to attend? ps i would like to work for mac makeup, or cut and dye hair at saks fifth avenue/ toni&guy.

To go to Beauty school you have to have a High school diploma or G.E.D.. If you live in NYC- I would go to the best salons and ask there opinion.Even in a small town you can do that. But you have to go to the exclusive shop's and ask the manager and the Stylists where is the best school. Only Those people would hav the right answer for you. Also tell them you goals. Good Luck ps. A course takes 1200 hrs(10 mos in NJ-you might have to go longer.
